WNY RAPTOR AND WILDLIFE CARE INC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife, specifically raptors (hawks, owls, falcons).
We have helped over 150 animals this past year (2020) and need to expand our capacity. We are building a new 30’ x 32’ multi-unit enclosure to house additional animals in need. All donations significantly help in the project!
What kinds of animals can you help with?
We will aid in the rescue of birds of prey. Sometimes people will find these birds on the sides of roadways injured by vehicles, or simply out when they are hiking. Feel free to call us immediately to help! (716) 863-7603
What are donations used for?
Donations help fund the cost food for injuring and recovering wildlife. Did you know animals that are recovering need to feed more than the average animal-- they need energy to repair injuries they have. Donations also help pay for medical bills, medications, and other supplies for the wildlife in need.
What do you do if you find an injured animal?
You can go to the NYS DEC website here and search your county and type of animal found here: https://www.dec.ny.gov/cfmx/extapps/sls_searches/index.cfm?p=live_rehab
